وقّع مجلس الأعمال الأردني الأمريكي مذكرة تفاهم استراتيجية مع جامعة العلوم التطبيقية الخاصة، في خطوة تهدف إلى تعزيز التعاون الأكاديمي والتعليمي بين الأردن والولايات المتحدة، وفتح آفاق جديدة للشراكات الدولية في مجالات التعليم العالي والبحث والابتكار.

وقد مثّل المجلس في توقيع المذكرة رئيس مجلس الإدارة سعادة الدكتور  طارق نجيب فيما مثّل الجامعة رئيس مجلس الأمناء سعادة الدكتور هيثم أبو خديجة بحضور عدد من المسؤولين والأكاديميين من كلا الجانبين.

وتركّز هذه الشراكة على تطوير برامج التعليم والتدريب، ودعم البحث العلمي، وتعزيز التبادل الأكاديمي، وربط مخرجات التعليم بسوق العمل، إلى جانب بناء شراكات مع جامعات ومؤسسات تعليمية أمريكية، والمشاركة في برامج وفعاليات مجلس الأعمال الأردني الأمريكي على المستويين الإقليمي والدولي.

وتأتي هذه المذكرة ضمن رؤية مشتركة لتعزيز مكانة التعليم الأردني إقليميًا ودوليًا، وترسيخ دور الجامعات الأردنية كشريك فاعل في منظومة التعليم والابتكار العالمية، بما ينسجم مع رسالة مجلس الأعمال الأردني الأمريكي في توسيع جسور التعاون المؤسسي بين الأردن والولايات المتحدة.

Jordanian American Business Council (JABC) Signs a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Applied Science Private University

The Jordanian American Business Council (JABC) signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Applied Science Private University, aiming to enhance academic and educational cooperation between Jordan and the United States and to open new opportunities for international partnerships in higher education, research, and innovation.

The memorandum was signed on behalf of the Council by the Chairman of the Board, H.E. Dr. Tarik Najib, and on behalf of the University by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, H.E. Dr. Haitham Abu Khdeijah, in the presence of a number of officials and academics from both sides.

The partnership focuses on developing education and training programs, supporting scientific research, enhancing academic exchange, and aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs. It also includes building partnerships with American universities and educational institutions, as well as participating in JABC programs and activities at both the regional and international levels.

This memorandum comes within a shared vision to strengthen the regional and international standing of Jordanian education and to reinforce the role of Jordanian universities as active partners in the global education and innovation ecosystem, in line with JABC’s mission to expand institutional cooperation 

bridges between Jordan and the United States.
